which means lockdowns and social distancing are in full effect so there will be no face to face book club meetings until further notice.

The theme for December's meeting was "Pajama Night". We played Fibbage 2 and Heads Up, baked and decorated cookies, danced and laughed the night away.

The Mister by E L James

The last Sunday of every month, Sistah Haven meets for a monthly book club meeting. The book for November 2019 was "The Mister" by E L James.

This book was a great combination of love and action. A great read.

Sistah Haven: A book club is born

Here we gooo!!

Sistah Haven came about when three women came together, all having the idea of starting a book club. A book club where a group of women can come together and enjoy each other's company.  

After an initial meeting of brainstorming and extensive ideas, my sister, Donnette and I decided to branch off, just the two of us, and continue full steam ahead together with our combined vision and our version of a book club.

On Monday, 23rd September 2019, Sistah Haven became real for my sister and I. We invited family, friends and co-workers as we tackled our first book.
